1. Having family over and having to pick up after them like a maid- Pg. 74, “When I made up Carl Ray’s stupid bed and cleaned his stupid room today, I left a note that said ” maid service end TODAY at 11:00 a.m.” The two weeks arre up! Carl Ray can make his own stupid bed from now on.”

(1) Describe Beth ann’s new behavior. How doe’s how does Mary Loe feel about it.

answer- Mary Lou is dissgusted by Beth ann’s behavior because she now has a boyfriend Derek (thats Judy’s boyfriend’s brother’s name). Which means she obssesing over it. Theres also a dance were Beth ann is going to meet him (they have never met exept over the phone of Beth ann’s friend), so she is trying to choose which dress she is going to wear. Mary Lou hates her this way now because, Beth ann is now acting like she is better than everyone because she was never really noticed (guys) her in school. Mary Lou is not liking Beth ann’s attitude.

(2) How does Mary Lou react to the death of mr.Furtz?

Poorly, because now Carl Ray is home all day again during the summer and now she has to clean up after him.

1. How is Maggie going to get to the party? she talked to her dad.

2. How would Carl Ray get his job or how did he find his job? Carl ray works at a hardware store.

3. When does Carl Ray start his job? Early monday morning.

4. How do you think Carl Ray is doing at his job? He’s doing okay and probally out of a job because his boss died.

5. How did Carl Rays boss die? He was ill.

6. How do you think Carl Ray is adjusting to the new house he is living in (temperaraly speaking)? Fairly because in the book he dosen’t seem to show any emotions.

As the reflecter, Im going to predict that during this mary L. is going to have a bad summer until her uncle Carl Ray is going to try to cheer her up. Maybe even help Mary L. to have something exciting to write in her summer journal for school.
